For parents and guardians

Help a learner build confidence without taking over.

Use the age-guided pathway, ask for explanations, celebrate effort, and let progress reveal where support is needed.

A simple weekly rhythm

  1. 1 Choose one recommended lesson.
  2. 2 Ask the learner to explain two methods.
  3. 3 Complete a short practice set.
  4. 4 Review mistakes without blame.
  5. 5 Try one real-life example.
  6. 6 Finish with a quiz or game.

Healthy learning habits

Keep sessions short, allow thinking time, praise clear reasoning, and stop when frustration is high. Never share a child’s full name, school, location, photograph, or contact details inside learning tools.

Parents should supervise younger children and review the Children’s Privacy Notice and Child Safety guidance.
